Thinking ahead to baseball season
Although I am a big Mets fan, I like to go to a few Yankee games each season. Today the Yankees put single game tickets on sale. We bought tickets for May 27th against the LA Angels of Anaheim and for August 4th against the Kansas City Royals. The tickets were in the upper deck down the right field line. The Yankees sold over 4 million tickets last season so I knew it would be hard to get good seats. Likely, the better seats for weekend games are sold through packages. We already bought a 7 pack of tickets for Mets games. More about baseball later.
Its okay to be a Mets fan and go to Yankees game. I guess its a guilty pleasure. I have been to a couple of games myself. Each time, I sat in the bleachers. I haven't been there in a few years (so things may have changed) but while there, you were always garunteed at least 2 or 3 players from each team would stop by and hang out. They even autographed the baseballs for you. The only drawback was even though you had a player autograph your ball, they would not always throw it directly back at you...so there was a chance someone would steal your ball!! Imagine, the guy next to you has your ball, knows its your ball, and sits next to you the entire game as if nothing is wrong. Haha, but all in all you will have a good time no matter where you sit.
