Bruce Slutsky was born in New York City in 1949. I retired six years ago after working as a Science/Engineering Librarian at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark for 25 years. I was married to Karen until she passed away in February 2021. I have a son Lee who is now 35 years old. I am very much interested in the popular music of the 1960s, especially Bob Dylan and the Beatles. I am interested in rock and roll radio. I am an enthusiastic fan of the New York Mets.

Another Mini-Vacation today
I took today as a vacation day as I did last Thursday since I don't want my bank of vacation hours to get too high. I didn't do all that much today. I went to a Dunkin donuts and tried out the Milky Way Hot Chocolate that they are advertising. Yummy. I also downloaded Ringo Starr's new CD titled Liverpool 8 from Itunes. There are so few music stores now, so it is more convenient to download. I received my latest copy of Goldmine Magazine. There was an article about the group Mountain that recently released a CD of Bob Dylan covers. Amazon.com now sells mp3 CDs. After I sampled about 30 seconds of each song, I decided not to purchase it. Back to work tomorrow :(
