Bruce Slutsky was born in New York City in 1949. I retired six years ago after working as a Science/Engineering Librarian at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark for 25 years. I was married to Karen until she passed away in February 2021. I have a son Lee who is now 35 years old. I am very much interested in the popular music of the 1960s, especially Bob Dylan and the Beatles. I am interested in rock and roll radio. I am an enthusiastic fan of the New York Mets.

Private Showing at the Movies
On a day like this it is nice to have the Multiplex within walking distance. Before we left I wanted Lee to see a few trailers on Moviefone before he picked a movie. He chose Be Kind Rewind starring Jack Black. We were the only 3 in that auditorium. This happened to us once before in 1999. This was before our local movie complex opened so we always had to drive to a theater. We were the only 3 in the Valley Stream theater to see a showing of Grizley Falls (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0196596/). Lee was only 11 at the time so we only took him to see G rated movies.
