Bruce Slutsky was born in New York City in 1949. I retired six years ago after working as a Science/Engineering Librarian at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark for 25 years. I was married to Karen until she passed away in February 2021. I have a son Lee who is now 35 years old. I am very much interested in the popular music of the 1960s, especially Bob Dylan and the Beatles. I am interested in rock and roll radio. I am an enthusiastic fan of the New York Mets.

Just One Comment about the Elliot Spitzer Situation
I usually don't comment about politics, but I'll make one remark here. How can such a smart guy be so stupid to jeopardize both his family and professional lives. If it can be proven that he used taxpayer money to pay for his indiscretion, I say throw him in jail.
Bruce, I, too am tempted to write a lengthy memo regarding this mess of Eliot Spitzer. However, I'm sticking to the format of my journal which means politics stay out of it.

I wonder sometimes if you have to sell a part of your soul to get anywhere in politics these days. I will reserve judgment on Governor Spitzer until this is brought before a court of law.
