Bruce Slutsky was born in New York City in 1949. I retired six years ago after working as a Science/Engineering Librarian at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark for 25 years. I was married to Karen until she passed away in February 2021. I have a son Lee who is now 35 years old. I am very much interested in the popular music of the 1960s, especially Bob Dylan and the Beatles. I am interested in rock and roll radio. I am an enthusiastic fan of the New York Mets.
Bruce's journal will reach its 3rd anniversary on October 15, but today I have reached 11,000. I would like to poll my readers. Why post or type of posts that you have read did you find the best for whatever reason? I think the majority of my posts fall into one of the following 6 categories.

Bruce-The post of yours which I enjoyed reading the most are your post on Radio. Although I disagreed with a few of them, I found them to be very informative and entertaining to read. As a Mets Fan, I also enjoyed your post on The Mets and Baseball in general. I hope you will continue to post on these subjects in the future.-snofan1
Since I lived across the street from you on Saunders Street and attended the same schools you did (though not graduating in the same years), and I knew your family... my favorite posts are the ones about your family and memories of your school and neighborhood experiences. I can relate to them and they bring back memories of my own. Thank you, Bruce.
