Bruce Slutsky was born in New York City in 1949. I retired six years ago after working as a Science/Engineering Librarian at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark for 25 years. I was married to Karen until she passed away in February 2021. I have a son Lee who is now 35 years old. I am very much interested in the popular music of the 1960s, especially Bob Dylan and the Beatles. I am interested in rock and roll radio. I am an enthusiastic fan of the New York Mets.

Got tickets for Dylan
The tickets were supposed to go on sale at 10 AM on Ticketmaster. I tried for about 40 minutes at home, but I had to get ready to go to work. I thought the system may be jammed with people trying to get through. Anyway, I thought I would give it one more try when I arrived at work at 1 PM. Sure enough, I was able to get 3 tickets. The base cost was $59 each but then Ticketmaster has to get in the act and add surcharges. There is usually an option for them to send the tickets via postal mail, but this time they have to send the tickets via UPS for an extra $12. There is nothing we can do about this. Also, why does Ticketmaster use UPS instead of FedEx?
Bruce, it's a mystery to us at Fed Ex as to why some companies only give the option to use UPS.
ReplyDeleteGlad you have your Bob Dylan tickets.
I hope you enjoy the show.
