My colleague Heather brought to my attention last week a post in the Gothamist saying that the subway station at Willets Point Blvd would be renamed Mets/Willets Point. Today the new signs went up there. I tip my hat to the MTA for not naming a subway station after a corporation who recieved a bailout from the government.

The MTA Stood up to Citibank
My colleague Heather brought to my attention last week a post in the Gothamist saying that the subway station at Willets Point Blvd would be renamed Mets/Willets Point.
