We saw the Mets lose for use for the first time at Citifield

It started to rain early in the afternoon. We didn't want to go out to the ballpark too early and have to sit around during a long rain delay. The other day there was a 5 1/2 hour rain delay before they Yankees started their game against the Washington Nationals. At 3:30 the rain stopped so we left home and arrived in the second inning. There was a rain delay of over 1 hour in the 8th inning, but the Mets lost 3-1. Johann Santana pitched well for the Mets, but received no run support. Box Score
