Afternoon at Flushing Town Hall
It's nice to have an entertainment venue in the neighborhood. This afternoon we walked over to Flushing Town Hall to see a group called Soul Providerz who covered R&B hits of Earth, Wind & Fire; Aretha Franklin; P-Funk; Mariah Carey; Alicia Keys, Barry White; Lionel Ritchie; and others. It was an enjoyable afternoon. I thank the Astoria Bank, New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency and New York City Department of Cultural Affairs for supporting this event.
