We took a walk to the local multiplex to see the new Spider-Man movie . For several months we have decided to see the 2D version of a movie, but today we forked over $4.50 more per ticket to see the 3D version. The action scenes with Spider-man were greatly enhanced by the 3D, but I must still stick with my original thinking that the extra money for 3D is not justified.
This movie had Andrew Garfield as the main character instead of Tobey MacGuire. It was interesting to see an elderly Sally Field as Peter Parker's Aunt. I still think of her as the 19 year old actress in the TV series Gidget seen in the mid 1960s.
