American Top 40 Channel on iHeart Radio
One of my favorite syndicated radio shows in the 1970s was American Top 40 with Casey Kasem. I will not talk about his health problems and family issues here. Back then it was heard on New York radio at various times on WNBC, WXLO, WPLJ and WPIX-FM. Perhaps a few other radio stations carried it, but I just can't remember right now. In recent years there has been a syndicated version airing classic shows from the 70s and 80s. Although no New York station has picked it up, I have heard it on WLS-FM (Chicago) and WOGL (Philadelphia) on the internet. I just found out that iHeart radio has a channel airing classic shows with Casey Kasem and Ryan Seacreast. Now I can tune it in whenever I want.
