Texas Rangers 5 Mets 3

Another disappointing night at Citifield as starting pitcher Bartolo Colon gave up 4 runs in the first inning including a 3 run homer by Robinson Chirinos.  Colon settled down after that, but the Mets hitting was just not there as usual.  They did score 3 runs including a home run by Travis d'Arnaud, but could not hit with runners in scoring position.  Now the Mets have a record of 38-49.

I saw a lot of fans in the stands with Texas Rangers shirts on.  I suppose they are tourists from the Dallas Fort Worth area.
