Winter Break 2014-15

Since I work for a university I have always gotten the time off between Christmas and New Years Day.  Since January 2 was on a Friday this year we were given that day off as well.  I pretty much stayed home during this break. It was nice not to have try ride the trains for a while.

I saw three movies at the local multiplex:

• Unbroken - this was excellent
• Night of the Museum: Secret of the Tomb - the original back in 2006 was better
• The Hobbit - Battle of the Five Armies - this was really for kids

I saw the College Basketball Festival at the Barclays Center

• St. Johns vs Tulane
• Hofstra vs LIU Brooklyn

Its back to work tomorrow.
