Bruce's Journal

Bruce Slutsky was born in New York City in 1949. I retired six years ago after working as a Science/Engineering Librarian at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark for 25 years. I was married to Karen until she passed away in February 2021. I have a son Lee who is now 35 years old. I am very much interested in the popular music of the 1960s, especially Bob Dylan and the Beatles. I am interested in rock and roll radio. I am an enthusiastic fan of the New York Mets.

Events In the Next Week

In no particular order:

Rich Appel will play his IRS 104 on his That Thing Show and on Bob Radil's 60s 70s show on Rewound Radio. This is list of 104 songs voted by the listeners that should have charted in the Top 10. It is always a fun listen.

Monday is the start of baseball season. The Yankees are starting at home while the Mets are on the road in Washington, D.C. Our first game is Sunday April 19

Bob Dylan's Never Ending Tour resumes in Atlantic City on Friday April 10. There are concert scheduled through the middle of July in the USA and Europe. This means he will likely come to NYC in the Fall.
