Tonight Noah Syndergaard will make his first appearance for the Mets. A couple of years ago he and Travis d'Arnaud were acquired by the Mets from the Toronto Blue Jays for knuckleball pitcher R.A. Dickey. They traded an established veteran who was popular with the fans for two rookies with great potential. I think it is for the better that he makes his debut when the Mets are on road.
