1977 was not a very good year for me. To make a long and painful story short I worked at a major pharmaceutical company in Groton, Ct. Things didn't work out, so I moved back to NYC. A few days ago, ABS who was a co-worker at that company contacted me via Facebook Messenger. I told him that things eventually worked out for me. He retired from that company and now spends part of his year in Florida and still maintains a residence in Connecticut. We chatted about some of the people we knew there. A few had passed away, while others relocated. After 46 years, I presume that everyone I knew there retired. It is time to live for today and not be concerned about yesterday.
