My Thoughts on the Inauguration of Donald Trump

In my opinion Donald Trump belongs in jail not being inaugurated as president.  He was convicted of 34 counts of  falsifying business records.  Michael Cohen served jail time, but since Trump was elected president, he received an unconditional discharge.

Special Counsel Jack Smith concluded that Trump would have been convicted of his actions on January 6, 2021 when his followers stormed the Capitol to stop the certification of Joe Biden's election.  People died in that riot.  Why did this not come to trial three years ago?  There was also his actions in trying to change the results in Georgia and Arizona.  Justice delayed was justice denied to the American people who deserve an honest man in the White House.

He also took classified government documents to his home compromising the security of our nation.  Again, this did not come to trial.

In my opinion the 77 million people voted for him were duped by a con man.  He won the election fair and square, but 49.4% of the popular vote is not a mandate.

I pray that President Trump will abide by the constitution which provides a balance of power among the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of government.  I hope that both Democrats and Republicans do the best for the American public and stand up to Trump if he violates the Constitution.

I feel badly for the immigrants who came to the United States to seek out a better life. If they did commit crimes in America, they should be deported, but law abiding immigrants should be allowed to stay.

Prayers for the United States of America.
